Walking as a path that leads to change, to a greater understanding, but also as a rite of passage or initiation, which shows and at the same time manages the fragility of the moment of transition from one (physical or mental) place or state to another.
This idea of passage includes the brief period of a life’s existence, and the relationships established during this period with other lives, whether human or not.
Trampled glass comes from second hand frames: it has had a previous use and therefore has accompanied fragments of other people’s lives.
The process of transformation always implies a rupture. And what remains of the rupture gives rise to something new.
